Dr. Ryan is a specialist in Cardiovascular Medicine, recognized internationally for his expertise. He is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Utah.
Dr. Ryan's contributions extend beyond academia, as he also acts as a Sports Cardiology Consultant for prestigious organizations such as the United States Olympic Committee, the International Olympic Committee, the National Basketball Association, and the NCAA.
His involvement in the field is further demonstrated by his active participation on the editorial boards of Circulation, Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes, Circulation: Heart Failure, The Canadian Journal of Cardiology, among others. Dr. Ryan has also made significant contributions as an author on the guidelines from the CHEST on the treatment of pulmonary hypertension.
