Jorge Plutzky, M.D. is Director, Preventive Cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and on the faculty of Harvard Medical School. He received his MD from the University of North Carolina and did both medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at BWH. In addition to his clinical work and translational research focused on lipids and cardiovascular risk, he directs a basic science laboratory investigating transcriptional mechanisms in cardio-metabolic disorders.
