Dr. Naomi Fisher is Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and director of the Hypertension Service at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She an endocrinologist and leader in the field of innovative hypertension management. She received her BA from Princeton University and MD from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Hypertension and research fellowship in Hypertension at the Brigham. Dr. Fisher has served as Principal Investigator on multiple NIH- and industry-sponsored studies focusing on cardiovascular endocrinology.
Dr. Fisher is an authority in the field of innovative therapies for hypertension, serving as national PI for the Global Paradise Study of ultrasound renal denervation. She led the novel remote hypertension management program at MassGeneral Brigham, as well as ongoing studies with cuffless blood pressure devices.
Dr. Fisher is a veteran teacher, lectures widely, and has directed several courses at the Harvard Catalyst Clinical and Translational Science Center. Her bibliography includes original scientific reports, reviews, chapters, clinical guidelines, and online resources.
